Customer Acquisition Network Acquires Email Marketing Firm

Customer Acquisition Network, Inc. has cemented a deal to acquire privately owned Options Newsletters, Inc. for a combination of cash and restricted stock. The deal is expected to close by January 2008. Options Newsletters also comprises Options Media Group, its wholly owned subsidiary, which offers email marketing and delivery services. "The acquisition of Options Media Group, which follows our acquisition of the 10th-largest ad network, interCLICK, now allows us to provide traffic to advertisers from multiple Internet channels," said Michael Mathews, Customer Acquisition Network's CEO and co-founder. Options Media Group's clientele list includes more than 100 email marketing firms, corporate brand advertisers, and agencies, which represent more than 120 million unique email addresses.
