1-800-Flowers.com Starts an "Engaging" Campaign

Online floral retailer 1-800-Flowers.com has partnered with Google's YouTube to launch a marketing campaign to boost its Valentine sales. The company has initiated two contests — ''Video Valentine'' and ''Will You Marry Me?'' — as a part of its ''The World's Greatest Love Stories'' campaign. The Video Valentine contest is an invitation for the greatest love story videos. The winner will be featured on YouTube's homepage on February 14th. The Will You Marry Me? contest invites people to create videos of the biggest marriage proposals. The winning video will be posted on the YouTube homepage on February 11th. The grand prizes include free stay at a Sandals Resorts property, American Airlines tickets, an engagement ring and diamond earrings from Internet jeweler Blue Nile, and a one-year supply of flowers from 1-800-Flowers.com, and many more.
