Demand Media (NYSE: DMD) is a leading online media company that helps millions of worldwide users solve everyday problems and live better lives. Demand Media Studios is the in-house content creation and management team who supports Demand Media’s websites such as eHow.com, LIVESTRONG.com as well as partner sites and external clients.
We are looking for a marketing intern to support the Demand Media Studios Marketing team in the recruitment and activation of new expert content creators. As a DMS Marketing Intern you will:
Contribute to high level strategy discussions in regards to acquisition component of marketing plan.
Research and identify potential contributors based on experience, expertise and background.
Support marketing outreach to potential contributors and professional networks.
Follow up with potential contributors to answer questions and increase new contributor activation.
Brainstorm and propose new marketing initiatives to increase Demand Media Studios brand awareness among potential contributors.
Support other new recruitment initiatives as they come up.
Demand Media internships are extremely competitive. We are looking for a tech savvy marketer with clear and concise communication skills, ability to quickly learn new programs and tools, and bring creative ideas to strategy discussions. Ideally you will have previous work or internship experience collaborating in a team environment and proven experience balancing several projects in a dead-line driven environment, so you can hit the ground running.
