Marketing/Curatorial Internship - Saatchi Art

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who is inquisitive and inspired. You want to roll up your sleeves and take advantage of the opportunity to work at a fast-paced e-commerce company. You are personable, interested in art, and want to contribute to Saatchi Art’s growth and success.
Skills You Possess
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Great eye for art and design and knowledge of art history, particularly of Contemporary Art
• Strong writing skills
• Attention to detail, especially when it comes to social media and Excel spreadsheets
• Comfortable working as part of a team and on your own
Responsibilities
Support the curatorial and marketing teams in day-to-day objectives, such as:
• Researching upcoming exhibitions, art fairs, artist birthdays and art school contacts
• Assisting online exhibition curation
• Drafting posts for our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
• Supporting special projects like our Art Advisory service, as needed

Drafting blog posts
Eligibility / Hours and Compensation
• Based in Santa Monica for a 3 month minimum duration
• Desired but not required: Bachelor's degree in Art History/English
• 24 hours per week, hourly rate DOE
