We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytics driven Product Marketing Manager to join our team.  The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, entrepreneurial team player with a passion for building great user experiences across all platforms and channels.  As a member of the eHow team, the Product Marketing Manager will serve as the voice of the customer to inform the product roadmap based on user and market research. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with business owners, product management, editorial, SEO, and other functional teams during the entire product lifecycle to ensure consistent positioning and end-user focus. We’re looking for ambitious, driven, self-starters who want to be on the leading edge of innovation in online media and technology. This position is located in Santa Monica, CA. Responsibilities:

Serve as “Voice of the Customer”: Manage the feedback loop with end users through surveys, focus groups, and engagement data.  Develop, test and validate product solutions to customer needs.
Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of all developments in the marketplace with regards to direct competition, complementary services and other factors that influence our market position.
Partnerships and Relationship Management: Support business development, editorial, and community management by reaching out to potential partners (content providers, user experts, etc.) and communicating the value of partnership opportunities with eHow and eHow Now.
Insights and Analytics: Collect and analyze user behavior through A/B testing, usability testing, focus groups, etc.
Product Feedback: Maintain a regular dialog with the product team to inform the product roadmap and priorities with user feedback and market intelligence.
Positioning: Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates eHow in the marketplace. Ensure positioning and messaging are consistent on the site and throughout all marketing communication venues. Own audience profiling and targeting to optimize content distribution across different channels (Pinterest, Facebook, Social, etc).
eHow Now Support: Support marketing efforts on eHow Now and own integration points with eHow.com. 

 Requirements:

Critical thinker with great listening and proven communication skills, both written and verbal. 
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
Able to handle multiple simultaneous projects while effectively balancing scope, resourcing, time, and quality.
Experience executing online products and applications with a demonstrated success in building winning products in a consumer-facing environment.
Experience with user testing, focus groups, A/B testing, and surveying techniques.
Thorough knowledge of the product development stages and process, and the technologies involved in web and application development
4-6 years of related internet work experience.
BA in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field.  Graduate degree a plus.
Experience with Google Analytics, Comscore, and Omniture
