Marketing Analyst Jobs

The marketing analyst provides database marketing analysis services to his or her company. Most marketing analysts are responsible for collecting data through market surveys, consumer research, and competitor research. They evaluate this data and propose necessary changes for better results. The marketing analyst assists with brand building, sales, and product promotions. This entails market research, data management, writing white papers, and posting on blogs and in forums.
A marketing analyst analyzes his or her organization's growth, sales generation, conversion ratio, and other factors and then prepares a report to evaluate the organization's performance. He or she tracks and designs strategies and concepts for enhancing the company's image and product promotion. Marketing analysts also prepare and analyze reports on market share, revenue generation, NPV, and ROI calculations. Additionally, they help the software team by measuring results through analysis models.
To obtain a job as a marketing analyst, one must have a bachelor's degree, although candidates with MBA degrees are preferred. Candidates for marketing analyst jobs should have at least two to three years of relevant experience and be computer proficient. Marketing analysts must possess strong analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills are desirable.
