Job Description

As the Payor Brand Marketing Senior Advisor you will focus on elevating awareness of our differentiated capabilities through CVS Health owned events and channels. You will work to understand customer needs, marketing channels, and operational procedures to deliver on team goals including: building awareness of CVS Health positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency of message across event and client-facing channels. And building brand equity with decision makers in health plans, employers and benefit consultants, a set of clients referred to as Payors. You will be responsible for delivering an effective mix of strategy and execution to support plan pull through both direct to client and via the sales channel in a variety of ways including web content, email campaigns, video development, sales training and downstream sales materials for key client segments. You will accomplish this by:

Leading development of a metric-based marketing plan with support from the Director

Developing full content view across all channels and events as well as ensuring execution and pull through

Obtaining senior leader alignment and consensus on marketing strategies and business cases to enhance client experience

Partnering with Sales Operations and Training teams to ensure the sales force can communicate the value of our owned events with confidence

Your success will be driven by your ability to lead development and execution of comprehensive plans to develop and promote our events. You will utilize your strong marketing background and your collaboration skills across multiple business functions to own the execution of tactics ensuring that the marketing plan for events meets target audience needs. As a member of the Payor Marketing team your role will be deeply involved in evolving B2B positioning for the marketplace and ensuring we are delivering a consistent message for existing clients and prospects at every opportunity, including our B2B web platform, events our client experience center. Your partnership with Enterprise Analytics on data visualization and enhancing analytics used with clients will also be key to your success. You will continually assess and identify areas of opportunity to improve client experience across CVS Health events and play a critical role in positioning CVS Health as a leader in the health care industry.

Required Qualifications

7 or more years of corporate or agency marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of event and / or digital marketing experience

B2B marketing experience

Experience with healthcare industry

Experience with marketing analytics; adept at using data to tell compelling story

Proven track record of the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external business partners in delivery return on investment positive results

Intellectual curiosity and rigorous analytical experience and a strong familiarity with the digital environment

Self-motivated, high capacity individual who can function and win in a demanding, results oriented environment

Excellent communication skills that can be effectively articulated in both written and oral forms across a diverse audience base

Creative problem solver who can incorporate learning into existing plans and act decisively and independently


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or related field required

Master’s degree preferred
