Profile is a new Online Travel Agency (OTA) focused on modernizing the cruise booking experience and backed by U.S. News. We're building best-in-class products and services designed to help travelers find and book trips of a lifetime. We're seeking a motivated performance marketing professional to help become a go-to cruise booking service.

Your role in helping us shape the future:

As a Sr. Marketing Manager, Retention & Loyalty, you will play a pivotal role developing GoToSea's ( customer base. Through data-supported customer insights, you will develop and execute multi-channel remarketing strategies that drive both new bookings and build lifetime value. As the first marketing hire for, you'll help us set direction and develop a scalable marketing practice over time.

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Database expansion: Help us grow, organize and mine our user databases to develop targeted marketing that drives bookings.

  • Email strategy: Use your deep customer empathy to craft compelling newsletters, promotions and 1:1 personalized communications that entice travelers.

  • Remarketing: Build and execute ROI-positive retargeting & remarketing campaigns (SEM, display, social & email) to make sure we're top-of-mind when consumers are ready to book.

  • Leads & bookings: Coordinate with our Operations Director to sync our marketing messages with our online booking experience. Coordinate with our call center to drive qualified leads & re-bookings via phone, email and chat via multiple channels.

  • Campaign management: Monitor and continually optimize all GoToSea marketing campaigns. Create and manage a marketing calendar to leverage the best supplier promotions and marketing co-op opportunities.

  • Maximize marketing ROI: Collaborate with existing marketing partners/suppliers, optimize campaigns and proactively seek out new partners to reach customers and drive bookings. 


You should definitely have:

  • 5+ years’ hands-on digital marketing experience.

  • Experience using data to make marketing decisions, with a bias toward action and moving quickly to realize results.

  • Proficiency with digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads (SEM), Google Analytics and Facebook advertising.

  • Proven ability to partner effectively with internal teams such as technology, design, product and customer service.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and negotiation skills.

  • A strong ethics philosophy and a desire to do the right thing for consumers.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for scaling a startup business.

  • Interest in working on a distributed, largely remote team.
