What’s the role?

B2C Marketing Manager – Central Asia owns the development and execution of Lubricants marketing strategy for consumer lubricants products, such as passenger cars and commercial trucks motor oils as well as owning brand activation alongside with Shell distribution partners cross 9 Markets within Central Asia region

What we need from You


Distributor Value Proposition: Ensures distributors are receiving full DVP with direct ownership over marketing, portfolio, pricing, and distributor training elements.
Channel Growth: Responsible for growing sell through of key grades through focus sectors including high street and branded workshops.
Channel Value Proposition: Develop and own the delivery of channel CVPs, to the various sectors including but not limited to high street oil shops targeting shop owners, trade influencer and channel customers.
Pricing: Manage channel pricing with the support of Pricing managers to ensure competitive yet profitable pricing.
Research: Owns research activities, while leveraging it for uncovering opportunities, insights and gaps. Also responsible for ensuring distributors are focused on opportunities, while closing gaps.
Brand Activation: Own brand activities for B2C brands across the region.
Communications: Drive distributor and trade communications increasing mindshare, top of mind and preference.
Digital: Supports digital transformation for the channel including development and activation of required digital platforms across distributors and trade.
Sales Promotion and Advertising: Manages the allocated marketing SP&A budget.
Route to Market (RTM): With the support of Channel Excellence manager and sales, ensures our distributors are following the set RTM strategy, reporting Coverage, Penetration and Throughout, while growing share of retail sales.
Premium Growth: Support the premium growth strategy by driving growth of existing producing and introducing new SKUs.
Stakeholder management: Responsible for managing both internal and external stakeholders and help developing an exceptional rapport with agencies, distributors, and customers, as well as keeping internal stakeholders aligned with market developments and actions.
product life-cycle management (PLM): responsible to assure adequacy of B2C product portfolio for each market and initiate interdictions and withdrawals and performance monitoring of new introductions.
HSSE: Supports HSSE to ensure behaviors and activities are consistent with stated HSSE corporate aspirations across activations and with distributors.


Preferred Qualification


Full professional proficiency of Russian and English Languages
Bachelor's Degree required and a master’s degree is preferred
5-7 years marketing experience within B2C environment
Experience in distribution for FMCG or Auto Parts
Extensive history of commercial experience in Marketing/Sales with thorough knowledge of the 4 Ps of marketing (product, placement, price, promotion) and a proven track record of successfully growing brands and exceeding volume and profitability targets
Ability to operate cross cultural and organizational boundaries
Ability to accommodate travel up to 30% of the time
