Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a leader and facilitator within the company to drive the successful development and implementation of strategic and tactical marketing and sales activities for various NAMSA products and services.
Create the marketing strategy for new product/service development, including ideation, prioritization, pricing, launch, promotion, and distribution activities.
Conceive and develop the long-term strategic marketing plan and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products/services
Plan the launch of new products/services and manage cross-functional implementation of the plan
Provide insight into messaging and positioning for assigned products/services to differentiate them and drive demand
Spend time in the market to understand client concerns and find innovative solutions for the market.
Develop and maintain market intelligence on: 1) your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; 2) your competition and how to successfully compete; and 3) new products and services needed
Communicate the value proposition of your products/services to the sales team and suggest and drive development of tools to support the selling process of your products/services
Drive the development of sales enablement tools to support service launches and generate demand.
Engage with cross-functional operations and sales colleagues to develop and grow the business per the annual and year-over-year business objectives
Any other duties as assigned
Travel requirement up to 50%
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or scientific discipline required. MBA preferred
7 years of experience in successfully driving integrated channel marketing strategies, with highly technical products or services.
Proven track record in leading and working effectively with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales, operations and finance.
Demonstrated ability to manage channel effectiveness and efficiency.
At least 3 years of experience in a field facing role.
Fluency in English and local language, if different, required.
Knowledge of medical devices or related health care field.
Sufficient knowledge of NAMSA products and services to effectively understand how to manage product and service channels.
Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits.
Excellent people and communication skills to interact with Associates, strategic partners, cross-functional and global teams, and third parties.
