Responsibilities
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Provides national analytical support primarily to sales in an effort to drive commercial sales force performance and effectiveness across various selling channels (Facility, IDN, GPO, and Government).  Supports Enterprise Sales VP and liaison to Divisional counterparts across all levels of the organization. The Senior Manager will be responsible for identifying key sales performance trends and providing insightful and accurate business performance and sales execution analysis to Sales Leadership. Provides analysis and recommendations to increase product sales & margin and optimize resource utilization. Directs and develops presentations for key business challenges with clear storylines and concise conclusions / recommendations with minimal guidance to all levels of the organization. Proactively identifies critical business success metrics, providing analytical and strategic support. Assesses new data sets and leads advanced analytics to provide meaning to a complex and ever-changing healthcare market. Leads operational / technical projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in delivering data analysis and recommendations (e.g., leverage the use of data discovery tools, Cognos, Oracle R12, IMS and Oscar Databases. etc. to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the recommendations).
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
 
SALES ANALYSIS: Advance the analysis of national data to derive better insights, better execution abilities, and contracting structure for effective long term deals.  Contribute to the coordination of marketing initiatives impacting the sales force and reporting.  Contribute to the ongoing development of sales systems and processes that further automate Enterprise Sales management efforts.  Lead and coordinate deep dives on specific topics and communicate key conclusions and recommendations as a business partner to the VP of Enterprise Sales and Chief Commercial Officer.
 
SALES REPORTING AND ANALYSIS: Act as a key liaison to Enterprise Sales Team, Divisional Sales Leaders, and Enterprise Sales Operations team in executing joint reporting and analytics projects.   Analyze and recommend optimal resource utilization and ROI for selling activities.  Analyze sales data for trends and accuracy. Identify and report unusual results to Enterprise sales leadership and propose innovative recommendations.  Cascade national-level insights and conclusions to Enterprise and Divisional analysts on team.  Collaborate with the Business Intelligence (IT) team to develop sales performance reports. Transition the distribution of the monthly sales performance and activity reports to the data and systems team. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence (IT) team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting to the field.  Drive preparation for and execution of business review meetings with sales leadership & C-Suite on a monthly basis.  Identify and lead projects to leverage regional business opportunities and drive business results.  Identify and recommend Enterprise Sales initiatives to increase product sales and margin.  Participate in sales meeting planning processes (as needed), representing Enterprise and providing any requested data or information.  Provide ongoing business insight to support and help deliver sales results for regional sales leadership teams.  Translate sales data into presentations for designated members of the Executive Leadership Team.
 
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position.

A Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution is required, Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) preferred
8 years\u2019 relevant experience in sales and/or marketing analytics, forecasting, finance, pricing, business development, M&A or other related areas
Ability to work closely with and positively collaborate with key stakeholders
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Medical Device industry and/or consulting experience required. Prior management/supervisory experience preferred
Proficient in report design and data extraction techniques
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and consistently deliver results
Statistical experience a plus
Strong presentation and written communication skills

Additional details:

This role is hybrid between HQ (Pinceton, NJ) and remote
