ABOUT THE THNY CREATIVE STUDIO:

The THNY Creative Studio is a full-service, in-house integrated creative agency, supporting marketing and communications initiatives for Tommy Hilfiger, The Americas.

The Studio Team is responsible for managing all areas of photo/video production, retouching, digital and print production to deliver a coherent and consistent visually branded message across all marketing channels.  Marketing channels include, but are not limited to, direct to consumer, email marketing, point of sale, e-commerce, wholesale, social media, influencer marketing, advertising, public relations and events.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Senior Producer will lead and manage the seasonal planning from brief intake to final production and delivery for all Retail-related imagery, direct-to-consumer marketing and in-store signage.  This role will be relied upon as the “go-to” person who can effectively oversee the full creative workflow to ensure all projects, teams and external vendors are on track for smooth completion of projects. A strong knowledge of the retail environment, project management, print, digital and imagery pre- and post-production will allow the Senior Producer to work with creative teams and internal/external stakeholders to find innovative, yet feasible solutions to marketing initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads and manages of all aspects of the Retail direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives and in-store signage needs briefed into the THNY Creative Studio inclusive of seasonal planning, asset creation, creative development and final production of assigned projects for Tommy Hilfiger North America
  • Oversee overall creative workflows amongst cross-functional and Studio teams including, but not limited to:
  • Brief intake/review, project kickoff initiation, timeline creation and project management
  • Interfaces frequently with Marketing, Copy and Creatives to manage workflow to completion, facilitates internal and cross-functional reviews, intakes feedback and executes follow-ups with various partners, management of stakeholder expectations, routing of copy/creative, ensuring quality-control of briefed assets and issue resolution/escalation 
  • Ownership of all aspects of Retail-related imagery for photoshoot development inclusive of seasonal POS, Commercial Campaigns, ad hoc and/or new concepts
  • Development of photoshoot timelines, management of all imagery and video post-production needs including vendor selection/management, price negotiation, estimate/invoice reconciliation, select reviews/approvals, proof routing, and supervision of seasonal guidelines
  • Seasonal print production planning, versioning, negotiating project estimates with vendors and reconciling invoices
  • Constantly review vendors (print and digital) to improve efficiencies, exploration of new production formats, maximizing volume discounts and ensuring competitive pricing is achieved at all times
  • Ownership of team status meetings and weekly cross-functional team meetings as appropriate to review current projects, set weekly priorities and assist Senior Director Creative Marketing Operations/Art Directors in the smooth running of projects
  • Work closely Senior Director Creative Marketing Operations to optimize workflows and streamline processes with cross-functional teams briefing into the THNY Creative Studio
  • Streamlines projects whenever possible and proactively identifies and resolves issues
  • Maintain close relationships with Amsterdam HQ teams to leverage efficiencies and achieve global consistency
  • Oversee freelance recruitment in close collaboration with the Senior Director Creative Marketing Operations, monitor freelance hours and budget
  • Research and maintain updated database of freelance talent, managing relationships with staffing agents as well as individual freelancers
  • Management of ad-hoc assignments
  • Ensure project management tool compliance across cross-functional team members
  • Maintenance of imagery and video assets on creative server         
  • Internal Contacts: Creative Studio, Retail Marketing, Editorial/Copy, Media, E-commerce, Accounts Payable
  • External Contacts: Vendor relationships (developers, translation, talent agencies, photography studios, retouching, video editing, photographers)
  • Indirect Contacts: Print Vendors, Video/Imagery Post-Production Vendors, Photographers, Photo Studios, Talent Agencies, Internal Stakeholders, Creative Design, Translation Vendors, Assist in on-boarding of freelance or new employees
  • Works with cross-functional teams to establish reasonable project budgets based on project scope. Bids out and negotiates projects to applicable vendors.  Communicates cost options to cross-functional teams. Ensures projects stay within agreed upon budgets and escalates potential overages.  Invoice management; reconciling vendor invoices to estimates; distributing approved invoices
  • Determines appropriate vendors to use based on project scope in partnership with Senior Director Creative Marketing Operations and cross-functional teams as needed. Determines appropriate creative team assignees based on expertise and workload. Prioritizes designer workload based on project schedules and business importance. Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines.  Recommends and continually updates procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Fluid environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. Willing to work occasional nights and weekends. Must be available for occasional travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

      

  • 6-8+ years of integrated project management experience, including prior management of print production, shoot planning, photo and digital production, image/video editing
  • Prior experience managing direct reports
  • Creative agency experience a plus
  • Fashion retail experience a plus
  • Workfront experience a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field 
  • Strong creative project management skills with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects through to completion
  • Keen understanding of retail environment and creative development needs
  • Experience in photoshoot planning and pre-production, as well as imagery and video post-production for both laydown and on-figure assets
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the capabilities and limitations around various digital production processes
  • Confidence and ability to manage upwards and interact with various levels of senior management
  • Critical eye for color evaluation and color matching
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Experience working within web-based project management systems ex – Wrike, Workfront, Basecamp; etc
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong professional partnerships
  • Strong interest in and aptitude for producing creative and marketing solutions
