Job Description:
The Senior Product Manager, Orencia Professional Marketing is a critical role on the Orencia marketing team with responsibility for developing and executing medical education tactics that will drive Orencia promotional efforts targeting health care professionals. This position requires close partnership with the Orencia medical team and other matrix partners to communicate the clinical differentiation of Orencia and position the brand for strong growth in the future. This role also plays a critical role in setting the strategic direction of the brand’s biomarker strategy and unbranded education. This position reports to the Director of Professional Promotions, US Orencia.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Speaker Bureau management including working with field medical and directly with contracted speakers to ensure optimal execution of medical education programs
Development of promotional medical education content that pulls through the brand’s key promotional messaging across a variety of channels/formats
Determine the right level of investment in FLEX resourcing and work with sales leadership for the right allocation among the field team
Contribute to a the financial analysis of the optimal split of budget between P2P, in office lunches, and marketing funded congresses
Ensure speakers are selected and prepared to present podium presentations at local/regional congresses
Define and execute an NP/PA promotional medical education strategy and program
Partner with external agency to refine current unbranded medical education campaign (RA Redefined) and messaging to incorporate new data and reflect evolving science in Immunoscience
Own KOL engagement strategy for the commercial team including engagement at key national and regional congresses
Contribute to development of brand strategic priorities and design a plan for leveraging Promotional Medical Education tactics to achieve the brand’s goals
To accomplish these business goals, this individual will lead cross functional teams, manage external agencies, and work closely with the broader Orencia medical, sales and matrix teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
5 years of relevant marketing brand management experience or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to drive execution of key initiatives working with and leading multi-functional teams to accomplish specific goals
Proven project management experience, demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities, knowledge and experience in navigating the medical/regulatory/legal approval process
Personal integrity; passionate, energetic and focused on the company and mission
Demonstrate the capacity to grow, develop and learn from experiences
