The International Expansions (IE) organization's charter is to rapidly expand Amazon's retail presence globally, partnering closely with category management, technology, and product teams across Amazon, to deliver the world's largest selection to our international customers. Within IE organization, our team's vision is to bring Amazon to customers in 150 countries around the world and build the tools and features that enable our vendors and sellers to go global effortlessly, as well as drive customer engagement and ensure our success in new and emerging marketplaces. We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager to drive the product roadmap and own business workstreams that will help launch new marketplaces as well as core and developing technologies around the world. As a successful candidate, you will have experience managing complex business and technical challenges, and have the ability to influence and successfully drive initiatives forward. You have a strong bias toward data driven decision making, passion for innovating and problem solving and an innate ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and to each other. You will have the opportunity to be a part of or lead business workstreams across Customer/Delivery Experience, Finance, Operations, 3P, Account, Tax, to name a few and will be a product leader who has the ability to communicate priorities and work effectively with stakeholders, including teams across engineering, product, legal, finance, and business. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that's higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving challenging problems. You will tackle novel, challenging situations every day and given the size of this initiative, you'll have the opportunity to work with multiple product and technical teams at Amazon in different locations. Key Responsibilities: Build, develop and manage the product roadmap for initiatives/features enhancing customer experience - define product vision and strategies supported by internal and external analysis. Actively build relationships with technical program managers, product managers, and engineers to deliver on your product roadmap Collaborate with internal Amazon businesses around the globe to define new requirements and deliver on your product roadmap Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, product, and technical goals Make prioritization and trade-off decisions balancing the user experience, developer experience, and business value. Investigate issues from different sources, do root cause analysis, identify systemic gaps and ensure these gaps are addressed. Operate autonomously; drive programs end to end including business goals, technical solution, legal, and all customer and seller-facing aspects. Create the documentation for internal Amazon businesses Basic Qualifications 8 years in product management, technical product management, or program management Proficiency in SQL and other statistical analysis tools MBA or MS in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent experience Proven ability to work across multiple teams to create scalable solutions to monitor business performance and interpret key performance metrics into actionable recommendations 5 years of proven
