We want the very best talent to help lead something big.nJob OverviewnOVERVIEWnShopper Marketing team members play a direct role in driving incremental volume at our PrioritynRetailers through design and execution of customer-centric, local-level marketing programs in partnership with our Brands, Sales Teams, and Retailers. We are seeking a Shopper Marketing Senior Planner to help lead shopper marketing strategy at Meijer, a Strategic Growth customer headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, with stores in several Midwest states.  Meijer is known for their strong customer loyalty externally, and in the industry for their unique marketing capabilities. The ideal candidate will be able to bring experience in both digital and traditional marketing and innovative solutions.  This is a position with considerable accountability and ownership.n nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIESnn Lead strategy and execution of General Mills retailer shopper marketing programs and tactics with internal and external groupsnnn Develop omnichannel shopper marketing plans and presentationsn Oversee creative briefs, timelines, budgets, etc. in support of shopper campaignsn Lead and participate in key customer meetingsn Foster strong working relationships with sales and marketing team members at both General Millsand our customersnnn Manage account level shopper marketing budgetn Conduct data/event analysesnnQualificationsnMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSnn Bacheloru2019s Degree, preferably in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or Businessn 2-3 years applicable experiencen Demonstrated ability to translate insights into powerful marketing programs/platformsn Understanding of how to use Digital/Social mediums as part of a marketing mixn Proactive leadership in identifying new opportunities and in managing day to day operationsn History of collaboration with cross-functional teams and agency partnersn Project management expertisen Strong communication skills (written and verbal)n Ability to work independentlynn nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSnn Previous Shopper or Brand Marketing experiencen
