Profile

The Pricing Analyst, Finished Lubricants

will provide sales data, pricing, market analysis and recommendations in support of the Finished Lubricants sales organization.

Responsibilities may include

Assisting with daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting and annual forecasting analysis

Providing analysis regarding volumes and margins for the Sales organization using SAP SD, BI and related systems

Performing sales/margin and marketer price/bid analysis and makes recommendations as required

Providing analytical and research support to assist other Lubricants business groups with projects that impact the Finished Lubricants Sales organization

Performing competitor and customer market research for business segment strategy development

Developing price escalation models to implement customer contractual price requirements

Interfacing with other business functions on problem identification and resolution

Performing data mining and analysis in support of recommendations to improve the Lubricants businesses

Interactions with the Product and Brand Management groups to determine pricing benchmarks and price index updates due to product specification changes

Serving as key resource for developing and implementing continuous process improvement for sales systems

Creating reports in SAP Business Intelligence (BI/BW), Business Objects (BOBJ) and Tableau. Assist with pricing issues as needed, including error resolution

Preparing pricing strategy reviews and analysis with management.

Interfacing with Finished Lubricants organization and sales force

Performing special projects as requested by Sales Managers or Manager, Finished Lubricants

Qualifications

Basic/Required

Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance or IT related field

Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel

​ Preferred

MBA

Downstream work experience

2 or more years of experience in a sales support or financial role

Proficient in PowerPoint, Tableau, SAP/BI, and Business Objects (BOBJ)

Working knowledge of Business IT systems such as Pricing Systems and CRM
