JOB SUMMARY The Senior Manager, Oncology Business Intelligence will be a part of the team Business Intelligence team supporting the creation of insights via data utilization that enables Eisai to fulfill our hhc mission. This individual will leverage competitive landscape analysis and market research analysis to contribute to the development of brand strategies. This individual will support the development of hypothesis and actionable insights. This individual is responsible for management and coordination of primary market research initiatives (both qualitative and quantitative), competitive intelligence studies, and secondary data analysis for brands and market. Individual will ensure that market research deliverables meet current and future needs of the brand/organization in close coordination with stakeholders in US marketing, market access, and the global commercial teams. This individual will collaborate with various internal (local and global) partners as well as external co-promotion partners on projects and sharing information that provides insight generation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Partner with key marketing and other local and global cross-functional team members to devise innovative research-based business solutions. Inform strategic choice decisions and help to align the organization through an evidence based approach. Manage co-promote market research planning and execution, as appropriate. * Monitor changes in the marketplace via primary and secondary market research and competitive intelligence. Utilize information from these analyses to develop insights to provide to business partners, enabling business hypothesis generation and lead to strategy and execution implementation. * Develop and track KPIs for the key strategies and executional initiatives collecting data from the tracking measurements that will enable strategy refinement and enhanced performance overtime. * Manage market research budget, negotiate vendor contracts as appropriate. * Project design, coordination, and management for both in-house and outsourced market research projects REQUIREMENTS * BA/BS Degree Required, MS/MBA Desired * 5-10 years experience with a pharmaceutical or healthcare company * Minimum of 3 years in Market Research * Oncology experience required, Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Renal Cell Carcinoma, and Differentiated Thyroid Cancer preferred * Experience in managing primary Market Research (qualitative & quantitative) * Experience with the use of secondary data, especially Oncology audits * Web analytics experience helpful * Familiarity with Competitive Intelligence methods and practices * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Experience and successful track record working in cross-functional team environments * Strong presentation skills * Demonstrated leadership abilities * Accomplishments in challenging situations requiring leadership of customers/stakeholders * Strong ability to coordinate and influence within a cross-functional team Eisai is an equal opportunity employer and as such, is committed in policy and in practice to recruit, hire, train, and promote in all job qualifications without regard to race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran status.
