U.S. Oncology, Director of Oncology Marketing Melanoma

What we are looking for?: A strong marketer and aspiring leader with outstanding customer focus to help drive the U.S. Melanoma business. The Director of Oncology Marketing Melanoma will drive the promotion of OPDIVO YERVOY in Metastatic Melanoma, and OPDIVO in Adjuvant Melanoma to healthcare practitioners and partner with the US Executive Director to coordinate tumor strategy across the matrix. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the growth plan to establish sustainable differentiation and rapid adoption of our portfolio within indicated populations. This individual will perform various responsibilities within market preparation for competitive entrants, updated data sets and emerging biomarker paradigms within current/ future indications.. We are looking for a dynamic, performance-driven leader who cultivates a team-based, collaborative, customer/externally focused environment which promotes candor, innovation, and appropriate risk taking.

Who do you work with?: The Director of U.S. Oncology Marketing Melanoma, reports directly to the Tumor Lead, and works collaboratively across a matrix organization inclusive of Sales & Sales Training, Access Strategy, Medical Strategy, Customer Insights, Worldwide Commercial, Legal, Promotion Integrity, and our Customer Engagement Center.

What are the primary responsibilities?:

Build BMS I-O Leadership through the development of a customer focused, differentiated communication platform which clearly & succinctly conveys the brand’s value.

Foster strong collaborative working relationships with external and internal customers.

Collaborate with Market Research Team to identify and leverage deep customer insights.

Develop and implement the strategic and tactical plans to promote OPDIVO YERVOY to Healthcare Practitioners

Prepare for release of competitive data sets and potential launches

Partner with Customer Engagement Center to optimize Marketing Mix & Channel selection.

Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends, & competitive response to inform strategic plan which addresses key challenges and capitalizes on prioritized business opportunities.

Develop and deliver performance and strategy presentations to Leadership Teams.

Provide commercial input to optimize the brand’s US prescribing information.

Qualifications and Experience we look for in a candidate:

MBA or other Advanced Degree Preferred.

Minimum of 6-8 years of pharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 4 years of marketing experience.

Prior Health Care Practitioner marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in customer focus, insight mining, message development and marketing analytics.

Proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance within a matrix organization with strong organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and executive collaboration required.

Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships

Understanding of the oncology marketplace is recommended but not required.

Willing to travel up to 25%
