*ABOUT THE POSITION *

As a Consumer Insights Manager at Columbia, you develop and implement research studies that provide foundational learning to inform business, marketing and product strategy, product development and innovation, as well as insights/measurement to inform and measure GTM (go-to-market) strategy and campaigns.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A

DIFFERENCE

Lead 2-3 discrete research projects concurrently for CSC portfolio of brands alongside partners in marketing, merchandising, innovation, product and Brand as part of the seasonal go to market process, as well as for strategic planning

Write and communicate at a high level that drives understanding, awareness, and interest in the outdoor consumer

Guide and navigate complex conversations with consumers, thought leaders, influencers, and partners to understand Columbia’s role in serving consumers through product, services and experiences – Effectively influence leaders to inform consumer insights impacting decisions related to product, marketplace, audience, marketing tactics, and go to market.

Understand and use technical platforms for analysis as well as industry-leading research tools (YouGov,Dscout, First Insights, Sprinklr,etc) for consumer insights

Establish leadership of the consumer topic and be a role model for bringing consumer obsession through theend to endenterprise of Columbia

Drive curiosity in your team and with partners to better understand, articulate and measure consumers interest, awareness, engagement and advocacy of the Columbia brand

You obsess and understand consumers, andhave the ability tolink insights to strategy and translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive communications

You are also a thought leader who is curious and passionate about data. You know how to get the best out of vendors/agencies and technology partners, and you manage workload by balancing future logistical and strategic needs.

Your insights will drive future product roadmaps, help prioritize products and features, help identify audiences, drive marketing messaging and key promoting propositions, and help improve products once launched.
