Work you'll do
The Deloitte Health Equity Institute (DHEI) Strategic Marketing Manager drives promotion of DHEI its alliances and content. You will serve as a trusted marketing advisor to the DHEI Executive Director and collaborate with the extended Life Sciences and Health Care (LSHC) marketing team supporting the Industry Program. Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing marketing channel performance strategies, driving marketing integration across sectors and businesses, and leading the analytics strategy to ensure alignment with campaign and business goals. Critical to the role will be teaming with marketplace collaborations to drive awareness of joint projects and extend impact of learnings.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for advancing health equity and driving the Racial Equity Imperative. This marketer will have experience working across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders and have demonstrated expertise in guiding an integrated marketing program leveraging a breadth of marketing tools and channels. We are looking for an individual who is highly creative, but also comfortable using research and data analytics to help define and execute strategies. The marketer will need to be adaptable and be able to work in an evolving environment and be prepared to embrace the challenges of a large, multi-faceted organization.
The Deloitte Health Equity Institute Strategic Marketing Manager key responsibilities are to:
Design and develop marketing channel strategies (media, events, digital, social, and short form content platforms) that align to promote DHEI and the LSHC business priorities.
Collaborate with DHEI Executive Director and research teams to refine health equity content and pipeline strategy to align with priorities and marketing campaign plans.
Team with external partnerships team and third-party collaborators to drive awareness of marketplace projects and outcomes at the local and national levels.
Work together with data team to create and promote data insights to inform interventions and drive awareness.
Develop best practice guidelines, recommend paid and organic promotion activations, and monitor channel effectiveness and continuously improve impact based on insights from data.
Innovate to promote our brand - bring external best practices around digital and social media, interactive content, and multi-media. Work with the internal marketing agency to execute against these innovations.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in an advertising agency, marketing firm, public relations firm, or internal marketing department
Experience creating and implementing fully integrated marketing plans
Ability to be consultative and collaborative with individuals across the organization
Strong background driving creative development to represent and communicate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
Outstanding verbal, written, and collaboration skills
Highly creative and innovative
Strong ability to think strategically
Desire to work in a team environment
Travel up to 10% (while travel of up to 10% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
