Description
As the Brand Planning Manager for Global Brand Demand
Planning, you will work closely with the Merchandising, Marketplace and Demand
planning teams to facilitate a holistic marketplace and consumer demand
forecast. You will be responsible for
enabling top down planning based on marketplace capacity, innovation roadmap,
line plan architecture, statistical forecasting inputs, and historical trends
with inventory and profitability goals in mind.
You will collaborate x-functionally with multiple
stakeholders to design and develop process, methodologies and tools to analyze
market and product trends to develop long range and seasonal demand plans. You will be responsible for analyzing risks
and opportunities in the Brand Demand Plan across classifications, price
points, gender and Categories globally.
You will play a key role in partnering with the Global
Brand Merchandising and Global Product and Merchandising Analytics teams in
creating the future for E2E Line Planning. You will facilitate both the
tactical and strategic executions of how demand planning engages in this
process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales,Fashion, Marketing or a related field
Minimum of 10 year’s work experience inforecasting, retail planning and buying, financial forecasting and demandplanning.
Extensive and demonstrated ability toeffectively communicate and affect others
Experience in developing an understanding ofcustomers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel andfootwear market preferred
Advanced knowledge of MS office applications;proficiency in Excel including creating spreadsheets, complex formulas, pivottables, etc
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment withmultiple business functions
Excellent team player and ability to work withthe cross functional partners and senior managers on all aspects of thebusiness
Proficiency in tableau for analysis andvisualization is preferred
Experience in a retail or wholesale apparel,footwear or consumer goods organization is preferred
Experience with advanced planning systems is aplus
