Are you an experienced marketer and strategist in the Financial Services industry? Are you passionate about how technology can be used to drive successful business outcomes? Are you eager to shape the way the Financial Services industry is navigating through its digital transformation journey? Nutanix is seeking a data-driven, creative, and well-written marketer to develop, lead, and execute Nutanix’s global marketing strategy and solutions for the Financial Services industry. This role requires a thoughtful point of view about the Financial Services industry, as well as the ability to develop and drive industry-specific solutions into the market, drive the business at scale, foster relationships with Financial Services senior executives, and work closely with our Financial Services account teams on strategic opportunities. You must be a segment leader as well as demonstrate industry solution leadership and be a financial services industry expert with direct experience in the Financial Services industry.
Financial Services is one of the top vertical segments for Nutanix and as such this candidate will be part of a rapidly growing business. This will be a critical and highly visible role within Nutanix and will be an integral member of the leadership team for our Financial Services business.

Manage the overall Global Financial Services marketing strategy (encompassing Banking, Insurance, Asset/Wealth Management) – work with key stakeholders across Sales, Alliances, Field Marketing, and Corporate Marketing to develop a comprehensive strategy and execution on a global basis. Identify and execute breakthrough marketing activities that reach target audiences and personas.
Develop content and messaging - produce Financial Services solution messaging for different applications and workloads running on the Nutanix platform. Collateral include items such as solution briefs, white papers, best practice guides, sales training material, and customer presentations.
Sales enablement - enable global sales teams, partners and global system integrators (GSI) on Nutanix solutions for financial services including industry trends, ecosystem, target personas, joint GSI and ISV solutions etc.
Drive Business Development efforts – partner with alliances team to incorporate ISV positioning into the content strategy for the vertical. Assist with large deals by identifying resources to help sales teams, participating in executive briefing sessions, and potentially helping with proposal development.
Elevate Thought Leadership/Brand Awareness - amplify and evangelize Nutanix brand in the Financial Services sector by conducting webinars, writing and reviewing articles and blog entries to educate customers and sales teams on Nutanix Financial Services solutions. Work closely with analyst relations/public relations to further elevate Nutanix brand in this space.
Drive Go-to-Market efforts - enable sellers to represent Nutanix solutions at field marketing events, both Nutanix hosted and community events (e.g. .NEXT), and various industry events. Maintain business dashboards and conduct executive business reviews to provide regular progress updates.
Accelerate Demand Generation – partner with other marketing groups to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple geographies. Partner with corporate marketing team to leverage multiple strategies in areas such as digital marketing, social media selling, direct mailers, and industry events to drive demand gen.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree with 10 years of experience working in the Financial Services industry, with knowledge/expertise in financial services operations, growth strategies, and innovative solutions. MBA/graduate degree is a big plus.
Extensive knowledge of the use cases, trends, and key ISV solutions in the Financial Services environment.
Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative products and solutions, preferably with familiarity with cloud computing and infrastructure solutions.
Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to details.
Willingness and ability to travel globally (about 20% of time), and ability to work independently and autonomously.
Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables.
Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.
Have good work ethics and strong drive to make an impact.
Exhibit a high emotional quotient and ability to navigate tough situations.
Bring sales, customer and organizational relationship experience across a globally distributed team.
