The VP-Marketing manages the Bank’s overall marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and implements the Bank’s brand strategy.
Develops the marketing strategy for new and existing products to achieve defined acquisition and revenue goals.
Oversees implementation of marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, content management, data analytics, product development and PR.
Guides the day to day activities of the marketing team and ensures all marketing objectives are implemented by the team.
Works closely with the company’s sales team; enabling them to meet their objectives by providing them with appropriate tools and materials.
Develops and delivers marketing and communications strategies for the organization.
Works closely with the Bank’s product management teams to define marketing materials and programs.
Manages social media presence and directs programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
Undertakes continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
Oversees and monitors voice of the customer feedback program; makes recommendations for changes to achieve customer experience objectives.
Manages and uses bank and industry data to help shape products, services, and delivery channels around the needs of the customers.
Facilitates strategic relationships and partnerships with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
Develops and manages marketing budget to maximize investment and support bank strategic and operating objectives.
: Manages marketing team. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Requires a bachelor degree in marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university. Proven experience in marketing, with strong analytical and business acumen abilities. Requires proven ability to creatively devise and lead cross channel marketing campaigns that fulfill marketing strategies. Demonstrated ability to remain abreast of latest trends and best practices in all areas of marketing, including data analytics.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to effectively utilize software tools; conduct marketing analysis; and effectively communicate to all levels of employees, including senior management. Must have an effective management style that is results oriented with the ability to clearly communicate expectations to staff.
