Work you'll do

As a Pursuit Lead Specialist in Audit, you'll use your skills to:

Manages full spectrum of pursuit process from strategy to delivery, including multiple pursuits with overlapping deadlines. Facilitates client service teams through strategy development and messaging activities. Serves as one-voice editor of final materials. Participates in national pursuit initiatives to improve the pursuit process across the department

Manages the pursuit process, from coordinating team pursuit activities to orchestrating the development of deliverables. May be involved in multiple pursuits simultaneously with overlapping deadlines and varying priorities. Assumes ownership for all pursuit materials. Reviews and edits content and ensures adherence to legal guidelines and brand standards.

Interfaces with client service team members on pursuits, facilitating conversations around messaging and owning client-facing deliverables from content creation through design and delivery. Leads discussions client service teams to drive decision-making and remove obstacles to ensure business needs are met and support the vision and goals of each pursuit.

Applies targeting and sales principles to uncover target client needs, identify win themes, create compelling messages, brainstorm solutions to challenges, and identify benefits for target clients.

Transforms team's strategic thinking into persuasive deliverables that differentiate Deloitte, such as proposals and presentation materials.

Participates in presentation prep with client service pursuit teams. Leads the creation of presentation collateral and helps teams prepare for in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings. Maintains familiarity with tools and technologies to aid in presentation delivery.

Writes persuasively, including executive summaries and other critical components of deliverables, interpreting information from research profiles, meetings with proposal team members, client meetings, and understanding of the business and Deloitte's offerings

Uses external sites and internal resources to research clients and industries and uses Deloitte technology to research and build proposal content. Uses network of Deloitte contacts to gather information and analyzes data to apply to pursuit effort. Collaborates with functional infrastructure to adjust support according to team needs.

Contributes to developing Deloitte's pursuit team, including collaborating with other pursuit team members, continuously refining and improving pursuit strategies, and acting as a project-by-project liaison between our team and the broader organization.

Participates in national pursuit and business strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced written and communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Humanities, or related disciplines.

5 years or more of relevant experience in business-to-business communications and/or strategic marketing communications directed to Fortune 500 organizations; experience in a professional services environment preferred.

Excellent communicator, writer, editor, and strategist, with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to lead teams in strategic discussions.

Experience managing multi-dimensional projects.

Experience in public speaking and presentations preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams

Ability to travel 15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,230- $161,330

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
