Demand Generation Strategist - Marketing Automation & Demand Management (Manager)

Deloitte is in the midst of scaling digital demand generation capabilities to connect marketing and sales. We are evolving how we think about the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns in order to fuel the sales pipeline with new clients, and generate additional growth with existing clients.

As a Demand Generation Strategist with a Marketing Automation & Demand Management focus, you will be a key member of our in-house marketing agency. You will create and optimize digital marketing experiences that align with the demand funnel. The ideal candidate will have proven success and experience with email marketing, B2B marketing, demand and lead generation, and data analysis.

Reporting to the Demand Generation CoE Leader, you will work closely with marketing, sales, and technology partners to achieve our aligned objectives. This is a full-time role.


Collaborate with Marketers and Business stakeholders to drive the strategy and execution of digital lifecycle campaigns against the buyer journey to meet growth goals

Execute complex lead nurture and other demand generation campaigns in marketing automation tool (Oracle Eloqua)

Partner with Data Analytics team to measure and report on campaign performance, including but not limited to regular reporting to uncover insights that lead to successful campaign optimizations

Work with Demand Gen CoE Leader to operationalize demand management capability within the marketing organizations, including processes and offerings to create impact

Work with others on programs and projects designed to maintain and evolve our channels including, but not limited to, implementation of new approaches and development of roadmaps

Lead or facilitate ideation brainstorms

Lead team learning and strategy documentation

Serve as subject matter expert for demand management; protect and manage the digital customer experience

Help establish governance processes to avoid oversaturating the marketplace

Develop and train marketing, sales, and business professionals on best practices

Contribute to integrated campaign strategy ideation and pitch opportunities across teams

Contribute to demand generation program evolution, including opportunity acceleration, customer marketing, product marketing, and up-sell and cross-sell across multiple channels

Keep up-to-date on industry best practices, and communicate implications and actions for the team



Minimum 7 years digital marketing experience, with proven track record in implementing campaigns that drive engagement and revenue expansion

Deep experience in Eloqua marketing automation platform; Eloqua Master certification preferred

Ability to think beyond email and influence an integrated cross-channel campaign strategy and customer experience

Knowledge of B2B sales cycles

Knowledge of database segmentation strategies and digital data compliance, including privacy regulations

Experience in building lead nurture campaigns and analyzing user data

Experience in experimenting with new content formats

Experience with demand and lead generation, and ABM

Familiarity with sales enablement

Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and BI tools (Tableau)

Familiarity with quantitative analysis skills including A/B testing

Ability to work independently and achieve results in a fast-paced, virtual team environment

Demonstrated high ownership and insistence on a high bar in your own work and others' work

Proactive mindset to identify and address opportunity areas

Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities

Familiarity with agile project management practices

Excellent oral/written presentation skills; experience influencing senior-level stakeholders without marketing experience on the value of demand management and best practices

Strong ability to effectively manage meetings, drive discussions to conclusion, and communicate updates to stakeholders at various levels
