OverviewnThe Team Leader, Pricing Specialist manages the Budget creation process throughout the Opportunity Life Cycle. Responsibilities are focused on budget preparation in a across product lines, and also include data and document management/tracking and reporting. By identifying trial risks before they become problems, ERT enables customers to bring clinical treatments to patients quickly u2014 and with confidence.nResponsibilitiesnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:nManages workflow for Pricing Specialist TeamnProvides input on hiring decisionsnPerforms annual performance reviews and mid-year career discussions for each member of the Pricing Specialist Team.nCreates study budgets using Project Specifications documents and other input from the Solution Team and Proposal ManagernResponsible for the application and use of client-based bid grids and discounting models, as needednSupports re-bid requests by adjusting existing study budgets based on revised Project Specifications documentsnCreates Change Order budgets to capture changes in study scope/pricing in conjunction with ERT Project Management after Work Order signaturenSecures approvals and feedback from legal and finance departments, as requirednEnsures that all budget-related documentation that is required for handoff to ERTu2019s Contracts Team is complete and accuratenMaintains accurate project value documentation in CRM toolnTracks various metrics related to budget creation to support management reporting needsnOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:nParticipates in meetings with Solution Team team, Pricing Strategy meetings, and other departmental meetings as needed.nInteracts with Business Development, Project Managers, and Sales Associates in order to complete Change Order estimates and budgets.nProvide review and guidance as required and needed via regular team and individual meetings, including annual reviews and career development discussions.nParticipates in the selection, mentoring, and training of staff. Accomplishes team results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.nProvides other support and takes on other responsibilities as defined by team lead or team management.nPerforms other duties, assignments, or special projects as needed.nThe duties and responsibilities listed in this job description represent the major responsibilities of the position. This job description and any attachments do not constitute or represent a contract.nQualificationsnQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:nBachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, English, or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
