An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Strategic Marketing Manager in Advanced Materials, Stationary team in Morris Plains, NJ. This position reports to the GM Stationary and plays a key role in driving the Strategy, Marketing and Business Development efforts.
The successful candidate will partner with commercial team to identify, document, and execute a growth strategy for the business. This individual will also work with the business and functional leaders to identify and prioritize a strategic plan for core and adjacent vertical markets and help align the organization’s product portfolio to address those needs.
Drive the development of the Strategic Plan (STRAP) working with business and product line leadership, and help ensure functional and regional alignment to enable execution
Develop and maintain business / market intelligence, syndicated data, sales analysis and corresponding presentations to identify and capitalize on the most advantageous macro business trends and align the business to dynamic end market conditions.
Drive Voice Of Customer activities and fact-based analysis of competitive threats / trends across businesses, technologies, and customer needs to support new product developments and business models
Support growth projects (business peer reviews, go-to-market plans, etc
Support the development presentation materials to effectively communicate with various stakeholders
Support the identification and evaluation of inorganic growth strategies
Identification of cross-selling opportunities that utilize the breadth of Honeywell’s product and services.
You Must Have:
5 years of experience
3 years commercial experience (strategy, sales, product management).
MBA degree is preferred
Prefer stationary refrigerants and/or chemicals industry experience
Financial acumen and business case analysis/justification development
Strong business aptitude and interest; understanding and application of basic marketing frameworks
Experience with the implementation of new business development and marketing initiatives that lead to profitable growth
Proven track record of successful implementation (on time and on budget) of technology or marketing programs preferred
Ability to influence multifunctional teams without a direct reporting relationship
A Highly-motivated self-starter. Honed customer interface skills
Very strong written and oral skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office
It is expected that the candidate in this position may travel globally up to 10% of the time
