As a Technical Marketing Engineer Intern for Infoblox, you will be charged with defining, driving and supporting Infoblox’s technical collateral strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a network technology student to join a fast-moving product team charged with defining and launching next generation products, SaaS offerings and solutions. This role also provides enormous technical training opportunities and career growth.The Technical Marketing Engineer Intern is primarily responsible for driving technical marketing activities including the creation of compelling technical collateral, demo videos and blog posts. This includes evaluating competitive products and working with Product Management, Product Marketing and Engineering to ensure the continuous superiority of Infoblox technologies. The TME Intern will also participate in other technical marketing activities such as providing support for Product Management events, technology evaluations for Business Development and provide assistance to Sales Operations.Responsibilities:Work with Product Management to create product technical customer value propositionsWork with development teams and marketing managers on product launch materialsCreate technical training materials for system engineers and professional servicesDevelop compelling customer facing presentations and product demos Create deployment guides and solutions notesContribute to Infoblox blogs and various technical websitesRequirements: System administration experience with Windows and Linux and experience writing scripts inside PowerShell and Unix shell (ex. Bash)A self-starter with ability to do technical evaluation and positioning of competitive productsExtensive understanding and experience with IP networking, switches/routers and firewall securityRequires the ability to produce quality materialAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyHighly organized and fluent with strong verbal and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiencesThe ideal candidate will possess…Prior experience in Technical Marketing Recent Microsoft certification (MCSE: Server, and/or Cloud) is highly desirableExperience working with DNS/DHCP/IPAM products such as Alcatel Vital QIP, BlueCat, Efficient IP, Nominum, Sorlar Windsor Network Automation Products is a plusExperience with virtualization (ESXi and Hyper-V) and public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) is desiredKnowledge of the SaaS, PaaS and IaaS is highly desirableExperience with SQL, REST API, HTML, JavaScript desirableSoftware skills using Python, Java, C (and any additional programming languages)Education:BS/BA in computer-related fields, or equivalent work experienceJoin our fun and interactive internship program where you will be put to the test on work that matters.
