Job Summary

Responsible for guiding our strategic direction in retaining our customers by providing insights into our customers' needs, evaluate existing business practices, recommend and test strategies to seize new opportunities and sponsor implementation of those strategies. Completing the business case development and the process to measure the business impact of the internal business intelligence solutions. Defines and implements the overall business intelligence program goals and tasks in terms of scope, quality, budget and schedule. Provides leadership and direction for team which may include multiple functional areas. Develops and implements strategy for functional area(s). May have responsibility for developing and managing budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Design and lead execution of market research and analysis to bring the consumer perspective to strategic decision-making

Interpret business performance trends to help determine strategic priorities

Understand competitive pressures and industry/market-wide trends

Partner cross-functionally to develop strategic recommendations to improve customer retention

Drive creation of executive level presentations to communicate results & recommendations

Effectively present stories to senior leaders and peers to clearly provide insights and recommendations.

Design tests to determine effectiveness of strategies; Sponsor program/test execution

Manage an ongoing learning agenda and prioritize initiatives based on business need

Contribute to the annual & quarterly strategic planning and budget process providing strategic insights and priorities

Build relationships across many functions across multiple layers of the organization

Identifies fact-based solution strategies for key business issues raised by clients to ensure that all important issues are addressed in fully and appropriately.

Determines when and how to use quantitative research tools and models and assists in interpretation and development of implications to address client business problems.

Develops and communicates goals, strategies, tactics, project plans, timelines and key performance metrics to reach goals.

Creates and manages supporting and related business intelligence processes.

Develops and manages budget to ensure required resources are available.

Defines the information, reporting and analytical needs of the company. Develops goals, strategies and plans needed to achieve the vision.

Ensures business intelligence programs progress, status reviews and corrective actions.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
