JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Digital Ad Buying Platform, sits on the Global Media Team and will be responsible for managing the ‘PLUS Platform’ product roadmap and leading Platform enhancements and optimizations to better support thousands of Marriott hotels globally. The Manager will be a proven self-starter with strong program management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
The role provides product support and development direction for the PLUS platform - Marriott’s digital ad buying platform, supporting hotels globally. This role will require a deep understanding of project management, digital media, AdTech, and strong analytical skills. The candidate is expected to work closely with internal teams and technology partners to deliver new functionality, requiring an understanding of Marriott systems and platforms, emerging technology, and global media partners. This role requires the ability to network and build relationships; working cross-functionally to gain alignment throughout Marriott organizations around the world.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required
4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major and 3 years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.

5 years of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain global relationships based on understanding customer/stakeholder needs, excellent in written and oral communication, and comfortable presenting and collaborating with colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions, high proficiency with Excel.
Demonstrated ability to extract insights from data and communicate findings to a non-technical audience.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify and understand issues and opportunities; obtain and compare information from different sources to draw conclusions, and develop and evaluate alternatives and solutions.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Product Roadmap and Innovation
Assist in defining the PLUS platform product roadmap and prioritization of initiatives, with a focus on driving global hotel activation and efficient revenue growth through new features, functionality, media partners, robust analytics, machine learning, and automation.
Build and maintain the PLUS product roadmap, managing project plans, and holding partners accountable to project timelines.
Lead cross-functional projects, work streams, and product releases for the PLUS platform, while ensuring that product goals and objectives are accomplished within a specified time frame and funding parameters.
Provide subject matter expertise for any requests or considerations involving integrating or using new/existing technology and media partners within the PLUS platform.
Leverage market and competitive knowledge to identify opportunities and drive PLUS platform product and partner improvements.
Data and Analytics to Drive Decisions
Lead reporting and analytics for the PLUS platform, including data organization, enabling API connectivity for internal dashboards, analyzing historical program insights, and tracking Platform activation and results over time.
Work with large data sets and synthesize data to determine future Platform enhancements, inform decisions, and communicate key Platform insights and trends to a variety of stakeholders.
Manage Platform enhancement request process, identifying the correct data and insights required to prioritize initiatives/requests from hotels and internal stakeholders.
Project Management and Collaboration
Manage 3rd party technology and agency partnerships for the PLUS platform - tracking all activities to ensure project tasks are documented, deliverables are accounted for, and timelines are followed, all while meeting Marriott’s expectations.
Serve as the primary liaison between the Paid Media teams (Paid Search, Affiliate, Performance Display, Paid Social, and Metasearch) as it relates to PLUS product development and enhancements for global support.
Partner closely with Media Agency, Media Vendors, Technology partners, Marriott Digital Services, and Continent and Brand teams to identify expansion opportunities through more sophisticated buying capabilities and new programs and advertising tactics.
Program Communication
Work with the Plus Platform communications team to socialize product launches to internal and external stakeholders in an exciting and engaging manner.
Develop documentation such as presentations and status reports for audiences from the executive level to project and regional teams.
Perform other reasonable duties as required for this position, in support of the Global Media and Marketing Platforms teams.
California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $81,525.00 to $174,271.00 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $81,525.00 to $158,430.00 annually.
New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only : The salary range for this position is $98,644.00 to $174,271.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $81,525.00 to $174,271.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.4616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
