Role Value Proposition:
Marketing Ops plays a critical role in enabling the Experience Design, Brand, Marketing Technology, Marketing Strategy and Marketing Sciences teams deliver for our business partners across the world. The Director of Marketing Operations will lead our business planning, financial modeling and critical resource allocation discussions with senior leaders in all businesses, regions and teams across the globe. This role will help move the needle and keep all trains running on time for a complex organization in a fluid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Soup to nuts development of the Global Brand and Marketing annual expense plan, including alignment with enterprise strategic priorities, budget alignment with financial guidance, discretionary investments portfolio development and stakeholder management to submit annual plan on time.
Align all enterprise and marketing workstreams, including but not limited to enterprise strategy, audit, legal, operations, technology, security, risk, enterprise program management, procurement, location strategy, financial reporting and regulatory disclosures, among others. For specific enterprise workstreams that require a marketing liaison, the director will also represent marketing in enterprise initiatives such as Information Lifecycle Management, Business Information Security, Business Continuity Planning, etc.
Support critical requests from Office of the CEO, Corporate Secretary and Board of Directors.
Coordinate, plan and execute quarterly operational reviews for all global markets, including metrics review and key performance indicator development.
Support Head of Marketing Ops plan and deliver senior leadership meetings.
Oversee GBM’s monthly budget reconciliation and forecasting process to ensure financial discipline and rigor.
Manage global vendor management process and oversee entire vendor onboarding process for marketing project managers.
Manage day-to-day Global CMO’s strategic activation budget to fund and resource key workstreams including Demand Generation, rNPS, Experience Design and Winning the Future Workstreams
This position will join the Global Marketing Ops Leadership Team, with the responsibility to build a collaborative team culture and organize monthly staff meetings for the Global Marketing Operations team 
Maintain open communication with leaders, teams and administrative assistants to appropriately manage and evolve operating model to best meet department needs
Manage the Global Center admin pool (3 direct reports)
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Agile methodology experience / training
Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to build a cohesive team, influence others and maintain positive, productive relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Strong project management skills. Superb organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple responsibilities and set appropriate priorities.
Entrepreneurial, can-do spirit and ability to work and thrive in an evolving and fast paced environment.
Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and partnership with a willingness to proactively coach, facilitate, share knowledge, and be the advocate for a changing organization.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to adapt well to ambiguity
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
MBA or other advanced degree a plus
5 years of people leadership experience preferred
Experience in Marketing Operations preferred.
Additional experience in Finance, Operations, Project Management, Go-to-Market, Sales Enablement, Customer Service organizations preferred
