The Director of Field Marketing, Enterprise, is key leadership position on the Americas Field and Programs Marketing team. This individual will lead a team of marketing professionals to achieve a multi-billion dollar pipeline target at a dynamic and high-growth company. They must be an innovative thinker, have a proven track record of team leadership and have a proven background in strategic planning and B2B marketing program execution. They will be responsible for developing integrated marketing and Account Based Marketing campaigns that align to the sales priorities of the Enterprise business. We operate in a fast paced environment with aggressive growth targets so the ideal candidate will show initiative and have a strong drive for results.
What you will be doing
Partner with Enterprise sales leadership to develop a deep understanding of their business. Create strategic marketing plans that will help penetrate target accounts and exceed pipeline and sales targets.
Develop a clear vision for growth and create a culture of innovation where team members think big and feel empowered to try new things in this ever-changing climate.
Lead a high performing team of senior marketing professionals to drive a combination of Account Based Marketing (ABM) and enterprise marketing plans.
Deliver detailed reporting for regular, proactive communication with sales and marketing leaders, sharing performance trends and insights.
Continually evaluate the performance and ROI of campaigns against Enterprise business goals. Use data to proactively identify trends and opportunities and make adjustments to plans as needed.
Partner with other marketing functions to leverage and adopt campaigns that are appropriate for the enterprise customer and share key insights and best practices that may benefit other parts of the organization.
As a key member of the AMS field marketing and programs leadership team, look for ways to elevate the team as a whole and make it the best place to work at Pure Storage.
Manage key external relationships to ensure we’re leveraging the right agency and technology mix to drive impact and scale.
Manage enterprise marketing and hospitality budgets with excellence, ensuring spend is driving optimal impact and ROI.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Proven track record being a strategic partner to sales leadership and developing high trust relationships between sales and marketing
Extensive knowledge and experience delivering demand generation programs and exceeding pipeline goals in the Enterprise space
Strategic thinking, business acumen and creativity
Ability to represent the enterprise business to all levels of sales and marketing leadership with proactive, data-driven communication
Leadership - the ability to inspire your team and enable them to do the best work of their careers
Team player with who is highly collaborative with other marketing and sales functions - at Pure, we succeed and win together
Energy, passion and ambition; a get-it done mentality
Experience in Account Based Marketing
Ability to thrive in a high growth environment
Excellence in budget management
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study with 10 years field marketing experience
Enterprise software/hardware/storage experience
Marketing leadership experience
Vertical marketing experience strongly preferred
Strong analytical and budget management skills
Must be comfortable working and leading a team in a virtual environment
Travel could resume to approx. 20-30%
