We are looking for a Social Media Associate

to join our Society6 Marketing team at our Santa Monica office.

You’ll Report To: Director of Brand & Content

A typical day as a Social Media Associate

might include:

Assisting in developing and publishing branded content on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter 

Aiding in the building and maintaining of a robust and relevant influencer marketing strategy and managing campaign elements from execution to reporting

Managing relationships with influencer agencies and third-party partners

Working with copywriters and designers to ensure social media content is informative and appealing

Directly engaging with our community through all Society6 social media channels by responding to questions and comments to maximize engagement

Analyzing social content to gain competitive intelligence and reporting on these insights on a weekly and monthly basis

Staying ahead of key industry trends, best practices and competitive insights and emerging branded content trends. 

Discovering new influencer talent for collaborations, content and campaigns

What You Have:

At least 2 year’s experience running social media and working on influencer marketing campaigns for other brands.

A love for art, a strong understanding of aesthetics and an eye for creative storytelling 

Not afraid to wear multiple hats—no job is too small or too large.

Strong people skills and a collaborative spirit.

Loves to find creative ways to solve problems. 

Strong planning, organizational, project management skills.

Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Demonstrated ability to excel in a hands-on, fast paced entrepreneurial environment.

A sense of humor and a desire to work efficiently in an informal environment. 

You will be successful if you are an aesthetically-minded, fun and curious team player who is always down to try new things and is committed to growth—both creatively and numerically.
