SUMMARY
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. seeks a Communications and Social Media Coordinator. Under the direction of the department lead and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the company and local, state and federal laws, this position performs duties as assigned similar to customer service, research projects, rendering reports, compiling information, editing, proof reading, managing multimedia projects, managing social media accounts, creating content aligned with the BSNC brand and creating work products. Must be flexible and available to perform other duties in support of various programs, executive staff, managers and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Under supervision of Corporate Communication Manager and Director, generate content creation in alignment with BSNC and its subsidiary brands for marketing materials, the website, social media and podcasts.
Publish website content on Wordpress, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Assist with shareholder/descendant emails via Constant Contact.
Copy, edit, proofread and revise as assigned.
Establish and track communication project schedules: tracks project status through completion and elevates project schedule delays.
Help foster BSNC’s relationships with shareholders, business associates, media and interested members of the public. Improve search engine visibility of BSNC.
Assist with the planning, creation and attendance of BSNC-related engagements and events.
Provide office support functions including word processing, filing, copying, composing a variety of business documents, gathering and compiling data, and balancing and coordinating a workload for multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Assist department with special projects including distribution of information, data entry, filing and research.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Use a computer, related software, transcribing equipment and other standard office equipment.
Update files and work with company SharePoint Online portal.
Upload and approve invoices from vendors.
Update AlertMedia database on a monthly basis.
Other duties as assigned.

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Applicant must be a shareholder or shareholder descendant
Bachelor’s degree required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Knowledge of Adobe products/media platforms.
Utilize proper telephone etiquette.
Excellent communication skills including correct grammar and spelling.
Knowledge of office machines including computer work stations, telephone system and voicemail system.
Ability to meet and deal with the public and staff in a pleasant and courteous manner
Ability to work well with others
Ability to follow direction and attention to detail
Must have positive, friendly attitude and be a team player
Ability to meet deadlines

Essential and marginal functions may require frequent sitting, walking or occasional standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching of items weighting as much as 60 pounds; near visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels.
