Who are we hiring?
Reporting to the Director of Sphere Brand Marketing, this individual will be responsible with partnering with HR, Recruiting, Events and Internal Communications to develop and protect our employer brand (Sphere and Sphere studios). This person will develop the communication architecture to support those teams and be responsible for delivering all relevant content, collateral, and materials, with an initial emphasis on?recruiting. This leader will measure their success based on our recruiting productivity to build our Sphere team and based on the strength of our brand among potential candidates and current employees (measured by engagement surveys internally and by external benchmarking relative to competitors). The leader will also work with comms to develop our web content around our leadership team and experts; creating toolkits for recruiting in different verticals; developing strategies to support our brand profile on LinkedIn, Blind, Glassdoor and others.
What will you do?
Work cross-functionally to protect MSG Sphere and MSG Sphere Studios Brands
Develop communication strategies to reach our target audiences and to improve their willingness to consider working for the Sphere
Work with comms to develop our web content around our leadership team and experts
Develop strategies to support MSG Sphere brand profile online
Initial emphasis on recruiting
Actively involved in leading the development and ongoing execution of the marketing plans for the MSG Sphere, inclusive of development of a marketing calendar, creative briefs, style guides and toolkits.
Collaborate and coordinate across all marketing functions (e.g., ticket sales, partnerships, pr, media, creative, insights, digital/social, event presentations, community) with internal stakeholders and external agencies and partners to ensure effective development and execution of marketing efforts for MSG Sphere
Work directly with the insights / analytics / database teams to analyze current customer data, competitive activity, sales volume, market trends to build a solid understanding of our customers in support of development of marketing strategies
What do you need to succeed?
?8-10 years of marketing experience inclusive of strategy and 360 campaign development
Significant experience in the execution of cross-channel campaigns. Experience in executing across TV/film, online and social is a must
Significant experience with writing creative brief, managing budgets and timelines
Strong understanding of digital strategy and proven ability to execute campaigns across email, social and online
Proven track record of managing projects on-time and on budget in a fast-paced environment
Significant experience in partnering with media teams to develop media strategy, plans and execution of the plans
Proven ability to work/collaborate across multiple departments towards a common goal
Ability to translate campaign results into actionable insights and optimizations
Proven track record of being nimble and a strong team player
2 years' managerial experience
Experience in integrated marketing campaigns – managing and executing across full project cycle
Experience in developing lead generation initiatives
Experience in email marketing
