We’re looking for a Sr Director Product Marketing Manager, AI Marketing Thought Leadership, to join our team and play a critical role in establishing Microsoft as the industry leader in AI.
In this role you will be leading the Microsoft AI narrative and thought leadership strategy, working across the entire organization to drive a unified messaging and go to market. You will partner very closely with each of the main business units in Microsoft to unify and amplify our approach to AI.
You will work very closely with the Engineering and Research organizations, as well as the rest of business and marketing teams to productize and bring to market the emerging AI research and technologies into our offerings, with a special focus on our Microsoft 365 offerings.
AI opens new opportunities to redefine business applications and processes, transforming entire industries. However, the full realization of AI will happen when every employee is empowered with AI, regardless of their technical expertise.
In this role you will help define this vision and bring it to market by providing the business insights, customer scenarios and messaging. As a Sr. Director Product Marketing Manager for AI Thought Leadership, you will lead our Microsoft AI thought leadership approach applied to any employee through our product offerings.
For this role of Sr. Director Product Marketing Manager, we are seeking a passionate and experienced individual who blends solid technical chops with top-notch Enterprise marketing and expertise on the Information Worker audience. The successful candidate will step into an exciting role to creatively drive adoption of our Artificial Intelligence platform and services.

• 10 years of technical marketing and/or product/program management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading initiatives at (global) scale.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for business decision makers, as well as IT decision makers and information workers.
• Deep understanding of the Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge space.
• Ability and experience to work closely with a very senior product development team, act as their partner and be able to shape product plans with a collection of influence strategies.
• A profound sense of ownership and accountability is absolutely required alongside the ability to influence, inspire large and sometimes skeptical audiences.
• Ability to analyze and diagnose complex product and business challenges, formulate solutions, and then motivate the broader organization to pragmatic action.
• Experience leading and driving multiple complex, global projects spanning different business and disciplines with a laser sharp customer-focus.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
