What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a top-notch professional with a breadth of experience in digital marketing. You should also bring a love for teaching, inspiring, and helping newcomers enter the field of digital marketing. The program we’re developing combines theoretical teaching with plenty of hands-on practical, skills-based training.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
You will be responsible for creating instructional activities to demonstrate key concepts in digital marketing.
You will be responsible for improving portions of our curriculum based on instructor and student feedback.
You will be responsible for staying abreast of technology trends and incorporating these trends into the curriculum.
Lastly, and most importantly, you will be responsible for making sure our program is the very best Digital Marketing training program it can be. We want the person in this role to feel accountable to our students’ success in the same way we do.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Someone with 7 years of industry experience in the digital marketing sector.
Experienced in developing content for the web.
Experienced in multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including:
Social
Search (SEO and Paid)
Display
Email
Someone with hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms. At a minimum, you should be comfortable in tools like:
Google Ads (Search and Display)
Facebook Ads Manager
Google Analytics
Excel/Google Sheets
Wordpress or other CMS
Bonus points if you have experience using SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar tools
Someone who loves sharing their knowledge with others. It’s ideal if you’ve taught classes or led trainings on digital marketing or marketing analytics in the past. Major plus if you have experience with course development.
Someone itching to stretch their creative muscles! This position requires a great deal of ingenuity, imagination and passion. You should get excited to dream up hands-on activities that engage students with CTR, ROAS, KPIs and PPC!
Someone who is a lot of fun! We want the learning experience to be exciting, engaging, and a little funny. We need fun people to make this a reality!
Open to constructive criticism. Everyone can use an editor and a Curriculum Engineer is no exception! You must be open to input and feedback from both an instructional design and editorial standpoint. This means having a bit of thick skin, an enthusiasm for continual improvement, and a collaborative spirit.
Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:
Someone who can work well in a geographically distributed team. We’re a friendly group of curriculum developers located all across the country. We want someone who is comfortable bringing in expertise and new ideas while working remotely, sometimes across multiple time zones.
A multitasker. As a Curriculum Engineer, you’ll be responsible for keeping a living curriculum up-to-date for hundreds of Instructors and TAs across the country. This means managing issues, platform accounts and bug fixes.
