Profile

The Role:

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to work within eBay’s North America Marketing organization to manage the flawless execution of eBay’s customer incentives. This role serves as the day-to-day contact for the incentives business unit to execute against marketing strategy. This person will work cross-functionally to develop and manage the end-to-end execution plan – including test setup, creative, quality assurance, message delivery and reporting. This person should infuse direct response marketing principles to drive meaningful outcomes, work cross-functionally to drive alignment in plans, and identify continuous areas for improvement for customer experience, business results, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end execution of select incentive campaigns, inclusive of:

Gathering requirements and offer strategic guidance on offer details (audience, timing, offer, experience) to business partners

Partner with planning teams to identify specifics of resource support requirements across teams, including creative, data processing, channels, incentive setup, and experience needs

Manage the end-to-end setup and reviews of campaign, including legal, ensuring the right reviews/inputs are being completed during the appropriate time in process (business unit, legal, finance, marketing, partners, etc.)

Use incentive requirements to ensure T&Cs are accurate for all campaigns, marketing assets are correct and representative of the experience, and test as expected during setup/QA

Ensure all areas of incentive campaign are ready for final approvals via tollgate/QA process

Brief Customer Service on campaigns, receive feedback for continuous improvement

Collect post-campaign insights and implement learning into future campaigns

Collaborate across teams to develop cross-campaign learning agendas and test design

Provide ongoing marketing performance updates on incentive campaigns to business partners and Marketing leadership teams, including rollup on cross-campaign trends, benchmarks, implications; partner with analyst as needed

Requirements:

College degree required, MBA a plus

Experience with incentives and promotions required (e.g., coupons, loyalty programs, etc.)

4 years of experience in digital marketing, with an emphasis on direct marketing or promotions/incentives execution

Customer-centric and execution-driven mindset, managing performance against established KPIs while ensuring great customer experiences and high quality in deliverables

Strong sense of ownership and accountability to drive marketing campaigns with relative autonomy and efficiency; ability to deal with ambiguity and driving clarity/action independently

Proven success in a fast-paced, matrixed work environment, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and highly competitive industry

Demonstrated Project Management experience; strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to plan and prioritize

Comfortable with Excel and Google Docs (primarily Slides); strong written, verbal and communication skills
