Therefore, a candidate for a marketing technology position would have to possess an excellent knowledge of computer systems and marketing strategies.Most companies require that candidates for a marketing technology job have a college degree in business, marketing, or computer technology. Keeping abreast of the latest software used in the field of marketing and its effectiveness is also required for a marketing technology job as is a substantial knowledge of the latest market trends.
Further, candidates for a marketing technology job need to have good verbal and written communications skills. A creative bent of mind and excellent interpersonal and analytical skills are desirable for this job. Also, a marketing technology job requires a superb ability to deal with large numbers.
