Morrison Mahoney LLP, one of the region’s leading litigation law firms with over 180 attorneys and ten offices throughout New England, New York and New Jersey, is seeking a Marketing Manager to support the daily operations of the firmwide Marketing Department in its Boston office.
The Marketing Manager will collaborate with partners and other members of firm leadership to support the implementation of the firm’s business development and marketing plans. Job Description:
The Marketing Manager will coordinate a variety of marketing and communication activities for attorneys and practice areas across the firm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting internal announcements on the firm’s intranet, as well as news items for the website and social media platforms, e.g., LinkedIn.
Create internal campaigns: LinkedIn Highlights (weekly) and Colleague Spotlight Email (quarterly).
Facilitate firm hosted webinars in all facets: planning, promotion, day-of-event responsibilities, and follow-up.
Assist with new attorney on-boarding process – coordinate new attorneys’ website bios, press releases, and conduct marketing orientation.
Assist with correspondence, formatting and distribution of the firm’s nine industry-focused newsletters (some weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly, and annually) using an email marketing service.
Work with attorneys to create marketing collateral – brochures, pitchbooks, and proposals.
Assist with the preparation and tracking of awards and rankings submissions.
Track new additions to the firm’s Alumni Program.
Communicate local and practice-specific successes for inclusion on web bios, social media and internal announcements.
Coordinate sponsorship and conference attendance opportunities to maximize benefit.
Maintain accurate records for marketing department expenses and prepare check requests for approval.
Coordinate monthly Marketing Committee meeting with a PowerPoint presentation; facilitate via Zoom.
Day-to-day administrative needs (web and social media postings, project tracking and follow-up, as well as some data-entry).
Perform basic research and data collection on clients and contacts, industries, and competitors.
Perform other marketing and business development related responsibilities and projects as necessary.
Qualifications/Position Requirements:
Strong organizational skills.
An ability to meet deadlines and manage simultaneous priorities, working closely with the attorneys, HR department, and managing partner.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to communicate with attorneys, support staff, clients, and vendors.
Passionate attention to detail and grammar; always ensuring MM branding is intact.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with an email marketing software, preferably Emma Email Marketing.
Preferred but not required: experience and/or working knowledge of CRM program(s).
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably for a law firm or a professional services organization.
Salary:
$70K - $90K
