Position Description:
Under the guidance of the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of the International Center, the International Coordinator Admissions is responsible for implementing the University's international recruitment strategy, with the primary focus of growing international undergraduate enrollment. The position is the initial point of contact for many prospective students and applicants, requiring a great deal of collaboration and information sharing with stakeholders across campus.
The International Coordinator Admissions is the first point of contact for perspective international students and will guide these students through the admissions process. The Coordinator Admissions will travel, primarily internationally and some local events, to represent the University of Louisville at recruitment/education fairs, high schools, recruitment and government agencies, and partner institutions. The Coordinator Admissions will discuss policies/procedures required for international admission, housing, scholarships/financial aid with international prospective students, families, and counselors. Demonstrate self-direction, creativity and strategic thinking in prospect development, yield enhancement activities, information services and problem resolution. Developing and maintaining an active International Recruitment Plan is required and constant communication strategies to reach students will be needed to be successful within this role.
Salary to commensurate with experience.
