We are seeking a Marketing & Business Development Specialist, resident in our Hartford office. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong writing skills. The primary responsibility of the Marketing & Business Development Specialist is to prepare responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), as well as coordinate pitches and capabilities proposals. Additional responsibilities include managing the firm’s proposal system and representative experience database, drafting news releases, attorney biographies, practice and/or industry group descriptions and other firm content.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field. In addition, three to five years of business development, marketing, or professional services experience is preferred. The successful candidate must have excellent time management and organizational skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills. A high degree of computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word is essential. Experience using a proposal system and representative experience database and Canva is preferred.
Marketing and Communications Coordinator - Hartford
We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to facilitate several firmwide, practice and industry specific marketing and business development initiatives. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will have responsibility for social media including authoring and posting content regularly, posting content to the firm’s blogs, making content edits and updates on our website, including managing ADA compliance efforts, making updates to our CRM system, assisting with virtual and in-person events and other responsibilities as requested.
This position is resident in our Hartford office and is a hybrid role. A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred. The successful candidate should have one to three years of business development, marketing, or professional services experience, preferably in a law firm. In addition, experience with social media best practices and posting, website content management, and working with a CRM system or mailing list database is preferred. The successful candidate must possess excellent time management and organizational skills, in addition to strong oral and written communication skills. A high degree of computer proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite is essential and experience using Canva is a plus.
