Senior Marketing Manager Jobs description
A senior marketing manager is primarily responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans that drive sales for the company\'s products. He/she mentors the project team and oversees day-to-day client interaction.A senior marketing manager collaborates with the production teams to provide strategic leadership, foster collaboration, ensure service quality, and manage budgets. The manager provides strategic value to a client by collaborating with the client on strategic planning needs. The position of a senior marketing manager requires a good balance between strategic, relationship management and tactical accountability.
Senior marketing managers must have strategic thinking skills and the ability to effectively express strategies in presentations and business documents. They should be detail oriented and have good organization and team leadership skills. Many companies require their senior marketing managers to have at least a bachelor\'s degree in marketing or a related field although an MBA is definitely preferred.
The average salary for the position of a senior marketing manager is $86,000; however, this may vary greatly with company, location, industry, experience and benefits.
