Marketing Officer Jobs description

The key responsibilities of a marketing officer include evaluating and following up on customer requirements, documenting various tenders, attending pre/post-bid meetings, and meeting and liaising with existing clients.

Marketing officers also gather content and constantly update the company brochures, website(s), and all other marketing/promotional material. They are responsible for the successful execution of most of the business development activities.

Marketing officers function as the single point of contact for all communication with the clients. Therefore, they should have the ability to convert cold calls/leads into confirmed orders.

As marketing officers deal with customers every day, they need excellent verbal and written communication skills along with substantial interpersonal skills. Marketing officers also need outstanding presentation and persuasive negotiation skills. The willingness to travel is highly desired in a marketing officer.

Further, a proven track record of having brought in business for a company along with connections in respective companies in order to tap new opportunities is a huge plus for a marketing officer job.
