Microsoft Inks Advertising-Content Deal with EDGAR

Microsoft Corp. has partnered with EDGAR Online Inc. to bring relevant advertising to the EDGAR audience and content to the MSN portal. Microsoft will provide display, contextual, and video advertising for EDGAR Online. EDGAR Online, a financial information website, will provide content, such as Securities and Exchange Commission filing documents, to MSN Money. “EDGAR Online attracts a highly targeted audience with its deep business and financial content, and coupling that audience with Microsoft’s advertising technologies is going to be a winning combination for advertisers,” said Brian McAndrews, senior vice president, advertiser and publisher solutions at Microsoft. Microsoft plans to serve ads on EDGAR’s site in March. The two companies plan to launch MSN Money’s new content later this year.
