infoUSA Acquires Direct Media
infoUSA has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Direct Media, Inc., by January 31, 2008. “Our shareholders have voted unanimously to take this exciting step forward, ensuring our strength and growth in the years ahead,” said Larry May, president and CEO of Direct Media. Direct Media provides list brokerage, list management, analytics, database marketing, and data processing services for both b-to-b and consumer marketers. “This acquisition continues our strategy of consolidating the direct marketing industry,” said Vin Gupta, chairman and CEO of infoUSA. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
