Microsoft adCenter Labs unveiled an enthralling display of seven demonstrations related to next-generation digital advertising at the fourth annual Demo Fest. Among the various technologies showcased were cutting-edge algorithms for computer vision, speech recognition applications for video ads, and marketing tools that provide improved consumer insight. The demos included Air Wave technology which boasted of an interactive multi-touch screen display for consumers. Also on display was a demo for visual product browsing, which uses computer vision algorithms to categorize or peruse things without the need for manual classification. Other demos showcased an ad research dashboard, a content analysis engine, intelligent bug ads, content detection in sub-documents, and speech-recognition embedded contextual ads for video.
