Next.TV has started a private beta test of its online on-demand video service scheduled to launch in March 2008. The Internet television service is packed with more than 100 channels and features content from CBS, Hearst, HSN, TV Guide, Showtime, and more. The content will vary by region and includes both free and subscription-based services. Next.TV also gives an option to rent or buy higher-quality versions of movies from major studios such as 20th Century Fox, Disney, Lionsgate, MGM, Paramount Pictures, Sony, and Warner Bros.
